My Story
I began my career in the retail sector, working as a producer right after graduating from the University of Delaware. My first role was with a large broker, where I insured agricultural risks such as ranches, dairies, hay dealers, and feed stores in California. After a few years, I transitioned to a large food distribution company with an internal insurance agency, insuring grocery stores and shopping centers.

Following several years of insuring grocery stores, I relocated back to the East Coast. There, I worked for an agency primarily insuring doctors, dentists, clinics, and various medical-related entities. Throughout this period, I operated on a straight commission basis, which, despite its initial challenges, I found very rewarding. My experience in the insurance retail industry spanned 15 years.

Life and family changes eventually brought me back to California, where I began working for an insurance wholesaler in San Francisco, specializing in Professional Liability. Over the next 14 years, I became well-versed in all aspects of Professional Liability, including coverage for architects and engineers, directors and officers, employment practices, technology/cyber risks, and insurance agents' errors and omissions.

In July 2023, I took the leap to start my own business, Bind Professional Liability. As a former retailer, I understand the expectations you have from a wholesaler: I will market risks to the appropriate markets, leveraging my extensive market knowledge. You will be informed about the markets approached and provided with quotes from each respective market. Given the ever-evolving nature of the market, I stay updated with carrier and program changes and continuously revise my marketing strategies.
